New Web Requisitioning Product - Customer Demo!

New Web Requisitioning Product - Customer Demo!

Web Requisitioning is a new module that will allow schools and individuals to requisition for goods using the web portal.

A customer introduction demo has been scheduled for June 11, 9:30am PDT.  Please register with Rachel by calling 1-866-998-2801. On the day of the demo call 1-866-792-1318 code #2731359.  A webex number will be given out at beginning of the session.

Any districts that are currently requisitioning with SRB’s POM product will want to consider this as a replacement as it contains features that do not exist in the current product and is completely user friendly.  It is the first of the BAS2000 features to be offered to the Western clients.

Features of the product:

  • Shopping cart style requisitioning for the items from a Vendor catalogue.
  • User can also request items using a free-form request (ex: request for a new
    computer).
  • User will be required to enter the GL which will trigger a budget check.
  • Submitted requisition will be written into SRB core POM product.
  • Routing based on the dollar amount directly to a Purchaser or to a
Principal/Supervisor. Requisition can also be automatically approved if dollar
    amount conditions are met.
  • Free-form requisitions will automatically go to the Purchasing department.
  • Once approved, the PO Create will be triggered which will convert the
requisition (in POM) into a Purchase Order (in BAS).
  • The email/fax utility will send out the PO to the vendor.

Other items:

  • Requisitions requiring Purchasing Dept intervention will be processed completely within the core POM module.
  • An Inquiry page will display the requisition details, approval status and copy of PO can be viewed.
  • Requisitions can also be cancelled if the PO has not been issued.
  • SRB can acquire the vendor catalogues with associated pricing and item graphics on
    behalf of the customer.
